6 Easy steps to clean your PupGo Pet Lawn
Keeping your pets toilet clean doesn't have to be a hassle. Follow these simple steps to keep your PupGo Pet Lawn fresh and clean:
Step 1: Remove Solid Waste
Simply pick it up with either a poop bag, toilet tissue or a paper towel. Toss it in the bin or if using toilet tissue, flush down the waste system.
Step 2: Empty Liquids
Roll the edge of the grass back, lift the PupGo tray while holding the rolled back grass and let any liquids drain off into the waste system or on the lawn/garden.
TIP: If you need to move the large PupGo 80 through narrow doorways to reach outside for cleaning, draining off into a bucket first may avoid spills along the way. It's much easier than carrying it when full!
Step 3: Wash
Thoroughly wash the grass and tray with fresh cold water. Scrub the tray if there is urine build up on the surface.
Step 4: Remove Odour and Sanitise
Using PupGo Cleaner & Sanitiser spray the inside of the tray and the front and back of the grass. Place the grass back on the tray and let sit for 2-5 minutes to neutralize odours. Then thoroughly rinse with cold water.
TIP: If your pet has been unwell or had diarrhea leave for 10 minutes contact time to kill harmful bacteria.
Step 5: Dry
Shake off excess water and allow the tray and grass to air dry. TIPS: For best results allow grass to fully dry before reusing. Place the grass back in the tray and lean against a wall allowing moisture to drain away faster. If you don't have time to wait for the grass to fully dry, you can place it back down ready for use when its still a bit wet. The grass will self drain into the tray below.
Step 6: Fluff It Up
If the grass has gone a bit flat, once dry, give the grass a quick brush to fluff it up. This helps maintain its natural look and keeps drainage optimal.
